Smart / Local Tools

Fix white balance and colour cast.

Neutralise unwanted yellow, blue or green lighting, protect skin-like tones, then fine-tune warmth and tint so the photo looks cleaner without losing its atmosphere.

Tip: neutral is not always better. Lower Auto neutralise when candlelight, sunset or editorial colour is part of the mood.

Private by design: colour analysis happens locally.

What Auto neutralise does

The tool measures the overall red, green and blue balance in the image and shifts the channels toward a more neutral average. It is especially useful for phone photos under mixed lighting, indoor shots that went too yellow, cool blue daylight images and product photos that should read consistently.

Skin-tone protection keeps faces from going strange

Automatic white balance can sometimes over-correct warm skin while chasing a neutral average. Skin-tone protection reduces the strength of the automatic correction in skin-like pixels, while leaving manual warmth, tint and finishing controls available for the whole image.

Neutral is not always the goal

Sunsets, candles, nightclub lighting and editorial images can be intentionally warm, green or cool. If the correction kills the mood, lower Auto neutralise and use the Keep it warm or Keep the mood presets as a gentler starting point.

For products and ecommerce

Product neutral applies a stronger cast correction and less skin protection so object colour is easier to compare across a listing. Always compare the final image with the real product before publishing because displays and room lighting can still affect perceived colour.

What this tool does

Fix white balance in photo

Neutralise unwanted colour cast with adjustable strength, skin-tone protection, warmth, tint and finishing controls.

The tool is designed to get that one job done without making you learn a full piece of software first.

Best results

Neutral is useful, but mood can be intentional.

Compare skin, whites and neutral objects against the original. Sunset, candlelight and stylised photos may be meant to stay warm or cool.

For product photos, use a stronger neutral correction. For portraits or editorial images, lower the Auto-fix strength if the atmosphere disappears.

In plain English

What matters most.

Auto white balance estimates a neutral colour average, then lets you decide how much of that correction you actually want.

File size & formats

Big images use more memory than their file size suggests.

What can I use?

JPG, PNG and WebP are the safest choices. Other image formats work when your browser can decode them.

Is there a size limit?

There is no extra OutMonkey upload-size cap in the browser interface. Very high-resolution images can still hit your browser or device memory limit, especially when enlarging them or running local models.

If the file is huge

If an enormous image will not process, use a smaller copy or reduce its pixel dimensions first. Keep the original untouched.
