Privacy
Privacy without the fog.
OutMonkey is designed to collect as little as practical. This page explains the current site behaviour in plain English.
Files
Where a tool says it works locally, the file is processed in your browser and does not need to be uploaded to OutMonkey servers. A saved monkey URL contains its name and ordered tool list, not your files. Where compatible steps can pass a result directly, a temporary working copy is kept in that browser’s site storage on that device. It can be replaced by a later result and is removed when you clear OutMonkey site data. If a future tool needs server processing, the interface should tell you before upload.
Accounts
The current tools do not require an OutMonkey account.
Website data
Hosting and security services may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser information and page requests where needed to deliver and protect the site. OutMonkey uses Google Analytics with Consent Mode to understand overall visits and interactions. If analytics cookies are not allowed, Google Analytics may still receive cookieless measurement signals. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics can also use analytics cookies to measure visits and interactions in more detail. Affiliate links take you to a third-party website, whose privacy policy applies there.
Cookies and similar technologies
Analytics cookies are off unless you choose “Allow analytics”. If you choose “Essential only” or have not yet chosen, Google Analytics may still send cookieless measurement signals with analytics storage denied. These signals do not use analytics cookies on your device. Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage. You can change or withdraw your choice at Cookie preferences. Essential hosting or security technology may still be used to deliver and protect the site. Withdrawing analytics-cookie consent removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and returns measurement to the cookieless mode; it does not delete information already collected.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled, advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to applicable consent choices and their own policies. OutMonkey will keep advertising visually separate from tool controls.
