OutMonkey is designed to collect as little as practical. This page explains the current site behaviour in plain English.
Files
Where a tool says it works locally, the file is processed in your browser and does not need to be uploaded to OutMonkey servers. If a future tool needs server processing, the interface should tell you before upload.
Accounts
The current tools do not require an OutMonkey account.
Website data
Hosting and security services may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser information and page requests where needed to deliver and protect the site. Future analytics, advertising or affiliate services may process additional technical information as described here and through applicable consent controls.
Cookies and similar technologies
OutMonkey currently does not use optional advertising or analytics cookies that require a preference choice on this site. Essential hosting or security technology may still be used where necessary. If optional cookies or similar tracking are introduced, OutMonkey will add the appropriate consent controls and keep a permanent Cookie preferences page where choices can be reviewed or changed.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled, advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to applicable consent choices and their own policies. OutMonkey will keep advertising visually separate from tool controls.
