If you keep passwords physically offline, that's your choice. Keep the notebook or paper somewhere private and secure, and never reuse the same password for another important account.
Turn on Avoid confusing characters if you're going to handwrite the result. It removes lookalikes such as O / 0 and I / l / 1 that are easy to misread later.
