Why does my image look blurry after I upload it?
Usually because the site resized or recompressed it, or because the original did not have enough pixels for the size it is being displayed at.

A sharp-looking original can still soften online when a platform scales it up, compresses it heavily or converts it to another format. Uploading an image close to the final display size usually gives the platform less work to do.
- Do not enlarge a small image and expect new detail to appear.
- Resize close to the final use before uploading when you can.
- For print, check pixel dimensions and print size rather than trusting how large it looks on screen.
