What this is good for
Headshots, profile photos, video-call stills, social posts and quick presentation images where the background is distracting but you do not want to remove it completely.
How the blur works
OutMonkey first finds the person locally, then softens the background behind them. Use a lower blur for a subtle camera-depth look or push it higher when you want the setting to become less recognisable.
Best results
Clear portraits with a distinct person work best. Hair, transparent fabric, hands crossing the face and very busy backgrounds can produce softer transitions around the subject edge.
